Italian Stuffed Shells


A dear friend first brought over this stuffed shells recipe. Now I take it to other friends' homes and to potlucks, because it's always a big hit! —Beverly Austin, Fulton, Missouri

Ingredients
∙ Serves 8
Meat
1 lb Ground beef
Produce
1 Garlic clove
1 cup Onion
1 1/2 tsp Oregano, dried
Refrigerated
1 Egg, large
Canned Goods
1 tbsp Beef bouillon granules
1 can Tomato paste
Pasta & Grains
24 Pasta shells, jumbo cooked and drained
Dairy
2 cups 4% cottage cheese
2 cups Mozzarella cheese, part-skim
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Liquids
2 cups Water, hot
